How we became Indigo & Sage…
Before Indigo & Sage became a brick and motor location, there was a spark for what it could become. Taking inspiration from life and the want to integrate beauty, wellness, and science. From there, our mission was born, to help each guest find the “beauty that’s naturally you.” We searched high and low for products that would meet our standards of being: Vegan, Sulfate Free, Paraben Free, and Cruelty Free. Thankfully we found them! But we still didn’t have a name… The Journey continued, looking back at what inspired the whole idea. Our founder, Brittany, started to look into the world of marketing and branding. The deep color of blue resonated with her. Blue radiates trust, honesty, and reliability. Muted green can evoke feelings of tranquility, wellness, and harmony. Taking it a step further, she started to look into the names Indigo & Sage.
Indigo is the color of wisdom and intuition. It represents an inner awareness and allows for deep focus. It gives an ability for planning the future and brings about a love of rituals. Those who feel connected to indigo are faithful, idealistic, and intuitive.
Sage is the color that communicates peace, growth, and connection to the earth. Sage is used to cleanse a space or environment of negative energy, to generate clarity, and to promote healing. Those who feel called to the color Sage symbolize a connection to harmony, nature, and freshness.
All of this spoke volumes and thus Indigo & Sage was born.
